Repair Process

Damage Analysis

In damage analysis we disassemble the affected area to determine if there is any hidden damage. If required, we straighten the frame to determine if vehicle panels and/or frame assemblies can be repaired or require replacement.

We complete this phase by creating a repair plan and notifying the customer of the progress of their vehicle. Once parts availability is verified, a guaranteed delivery date is provided.

Parts Verification

All replacement parts are stored in the vehicle's assigned replacement bin. Any damaged part left on the vehicle to be replaced is highlighted and marked. As parts are delivered they are stored in our parts staging area and verified visually. All parts are inspected before the repair process is ok'd to start.

Our goal is to have acquired all parts within 48 hours. After this phase is complete, the vehicle is moved to the staging area.

Staging

Located outside in a designated area with marked stall identification, vehicles are released for production once parts are verified and process space allows.

Body Repair

Mechanical, such as suspension, work is completed before vehicle proceeds to body repair. Body repair, including fit and finish, is performed in the center stalls of the shop.

Body repairs are reviewed by the floor manager and signed off by both the floor manager and technician. After approval, the vehicle is promoted to the paint production phase.

Refinish

In paint production, vehicles are prepped, wrapped, and colors are matched before entering the spray booth. The refinished vehicle is inspected at the second line audit station for paint quality and color.

If the floor manager and refinish technician approve the vehicle, it proceeds to the reasssembly station. If faults are discovered, they are immediately corrected and the vehicle will be the next one to enter the spray booth.

Reassembly

The vehicle's parts are delivered to the technician for reassembly. The vehicle returns to the mechanical station if further issues need to be addressed.

The completed vehicle is inspected, and the repair bill is verified. If it is on the repair bill, it is on the car. The manager and technican sign off on the audit, and we notify the customer that their vehicle is ready for final clean-up and wash.

Detail and Final Inspection

Our clean-up personnel perform a thorough cleaning of the exterior and interior of your vehicle.

The final inspection ensures that the vehicle is ready for delivery, and the paper work is in order. The Quality Control Checklist is signed by a member of the Rapid Repair Team, and a copy is delivered to the customer upon vehicle delivery. Our goal is completed! Quality, on time, everytime!
